This is the tallest building ever built in Ottawa and a prestige location near Dow's Lake. Our firm has designed all aspects relating to acoustics and noise control for this signature building.

Design with Minto
We provided design with regards to the Ontario Home Warranty Project Bulletin 19R including design review to meet Ontario Building Code Requirements for sound isolation between units, mechanical noise control within suites and hallways, and environmental noise control to meet City of Ottawa Noise By-Laws.

Gotham Condominiums, Ottawa
Design with Bel-Ottawa and Core Architects
We provided acoustical design for all aspects of these residential condos including sound isolation, noise to the interior and noise to the environment. Careful acoustical design was required to control costs yet provide a very high quality environment for these large scale condominiums. Environmental impact of noise from large mechanical penthouses was mitigated through isolation of sources and careful choice of equipment.

700 Sussex Condominiums, Ottawa
Design with Claridge Homes, Dan Hanganu Architects
The project was built on a very sensitive site on NCC land and we were required to make special acoustical provisions to control noise to the exterior including special screening as required by the NCC's Architectural Committee. This is one of the prestigious locations in Ottawa next to the Chateau Laurier.

The Central Condominiums. Phases 1,2 & 3, Ottawa
Design with Urban Capital, Core Architects
We reviewed the architectural layout with respect to acoustics to achieve optimal acoustic quality in the suites and high sound isolation between suites. We also worked with mechanical engineers to minimize mechanical noise to the suites, and minimized the environmental noise effect of the building to its neighbours. This building is LEED certified.

In this project, we reviewed the exterior envelope design to ensure it would meet City of Ottawa Noise Guidelines for sound isolation from traffic noise as well as providing complete acoustical design services for sound isolation, mechanical noise and environmental noise.

A 27 storey condominium building in downtown Ottawa, for which we provided the design of acoustics with respect to Tarion Bulletin 19R including design of STC walls and floors, interior and exterior mechanical noise.

A collection of multiple condominium buildings, Phase 1 and 2 are complete and Phase 3 (Fusion) is currently under construction. These buildings are a combination of wood, concrete and steel construction.

Plaza Condominiums Phases 1 to 4, Ottawa
Design with Claridge Homes and Neuf Architects
Acoustical design of multiple 27 storey condominium Towers in downtown Ottawa, to meet OBC STC requirements, mechanical noise control and environmental noise control. Detailed design of generator silencing was required as the generator is located on the podium and is very close to living units.
